It's a great way to see a lot of downtown at once. Milwaukee did something like this two summers ago called the Beastie Beat which benefited the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. There were far less Beasties, they were less detailed than the cows, and I think the got messed with more. What was especially neat about the Cow Parade is that there were many other couples and people doing the same thing we were - biking and walking around Madison and talking pictures of the cows.
